Water thundering over the rocks
Wilson Falls, May 2011

This year I am uploading photos a little differently.
Rather than a weekly blog with 12 photos,
there will usually be one pic selected daily.

You can find "Today's Muskoka Photo" HERE
"Yesterday's (previous) Photos" HERE  along with zooms.

Follow MuskokaCards on Twitter

to receive the "Today's Muskoka Photo" reminders - tweeted daily.

  1. Wow, that looks like quite the volume of water coming down right now! I love the contrasts: the light, raging water against the dark, soft background.

  2. Hello Malcolm - The water is quite high at Wilson Falls just now - possibly because water is not being diverted while the hydro project is under reconstruction? I don't know what happened to your last comments about the trilliums... they seemed to have disappeared! I did answer, mostly to say how really lovely your shot of the painted trillium is. I have never seen one except in a photo before. Truly lovely and a great shot you took. You asked where the red trilliums were located - yes, these are along Wilson Falls Road. Just one small multiple plant. Cheers!

  3. Hello again.
I saw your comment in response to mine regarding our trilliums however Blogger experienced some technical difficulties and removed posts and comments from that day, promising to restore them afterwards which didn't work for me or you.

What do you think?
